1985 年, Tears for Fears 推出第二張專輯 Songs From The Big Chair
裡面有幾首挺有趣的歌
例如 Everybody Wants To Rule The World 還有 Shout
這個樂團的走紅是靠 Everybody Wants To Rule The World
記得當時翻成 “世人皆有江山夢” – 至少”細胞”年代是這樣翻譯的
感覺翻的挺有意思的
Tears For Fears 的特色就是那 Roland Orzabal 及 Curt Smith 總喜歡抱著電吉它
就對這鏡頭跳阿跳的唱歌
國二那年, 兩個愛搗蛋的同學被老師處罰到講台表演
他們就是一人抱著一根竹掃把
學著 Tears For Fears 的扮像
開始唱起 Shout.. Shout.. Let it all out…..
其實那才是我對關於 Tears For Fears 的第一次接觸
後來有回頭去找第一張專輯 The Hurting
不喜歡, 真的不喜歡
然後 Tape 就不知道丟那去了
而手上現在有的 CD 是 1992 年發行的 TEARS ROLL DOWN GREATEST HITS (82-92) 那張精選
這首 Head Over Heels, 一直是我最喜歡哼哼哈哈的一首 Tears For Fears 的歌
開心的事在過年前, 不小心在深圳找到一張 DVD – Scenes From The Big Chair
紀錄了當年 Songs From The Big Chair 的輝煌年代
也找回了一點點屬於 80年代的味道
