昨晚的那場 Suzanne Vega 演唱會
一個彷彿鄰家女孩的天后, 扛著一把民謠吉他
沒有絢麗的燈光, 也沒有震耳欲聾的 band 加持
只有一個 Jerry 拿著另外一把電子吉他跟混音器在一旁協助
沒有中場休息的情況下, 唱完將近兩個小時
Suzanne Vega 是我國中時期的「民謠天后」
當年以一首 Luka 走紅全球
只是來沒想到會有這樣的機會在台北看到她的演唱會
對於她的歌, 我必須承認所有的印象幾乎在20年前就全部凍結
昨晚演唱會一開始, 她先用中文「你好」來跟大家問候
當然「謝謝」這句中文也一定會說
只是好玩的是, 她會的第三句中文竟然是用中文在數「一二三四五六」
一下子全場觀眾就樂翻了
後來, 她在調吉他指板時也用中文自己在那邊數一二三~ 四
幾乎在每首歌開唱前, Suzanne 總會先娓娓道來關於這首歌的故事
Suzanne 說故事的方式很有意思,
她不會讓你覺得她是在自言自語
她總是有辦法讓你覺得她是在對你說著當時發生了什麼事
十六歲的她寫過一首歌給送給她早就知道不會有結果的一位遠從英倫過來的男孩(gypsy)
因為對某位作家的一生有所感受, 用三分鐘的歌曲唱出他的精彩
受不了她媽媽把她那活了十七年的貓用放水流的方式埋葬而寫了一首歌告訴她媽媽如果她先走了, 她希望有一個墓碑(Tombstone)
Suzanne 告訴大家她來自 New York
她說 New York is a woman, 但不是 lady
然後用了一堆形容詞來形容她心中的 New York, 但 New York 會把你口袋的錢掏光
Suzanne 問大家, 那在大家心中, 台北又是怎樣?
是 Male or Female? 又是怎樣一個城市?
台下一個觀眾突然大喊一聲 Sexual 之後, Suzanne 就開始唱她的歌

她很早就告訴大家, 這兩首歌會放在 ending 時唱, 哈
其時, 昨晚除了這些林林總總的笑聲跟懷念的感動之外
Suzanne 讓我印象最深的, 是當她每唱完一首歌時
總會給全場觀眾一個九十度深深的鞠躬
後記:
幾個月前就聽到 Suzanne Vega 要來台北開演唱會
當時在臉書上貼了訊息, 放了 Luka 上去分享
然後, 就 as usual 忘了這件事….
一直到上星期才猛然想起, 馬上上了年代售票看了一下
發現雖然只有一場演出, 但票房並不好
所以就不急著買票, 而轉往 Y 拍跟 ptt 找票
人性是很有意思的的, 買了票又無法去的
買到便宜票的想把票賣貴一點, 多少賺一點
而買貴的票的人,只想趕緊脫手少賠一點
最後, 我花了 1600 買了一張面值 10 元的貴賓券
雖然我們的位置真的很不錯, 但就真是 TMD…
